"Silent
Satin"
"Silent
Satin" has a special place on
our farm. She and "Skip N
Flash" came from Hank
Wiescamp's in 1982. Hank Wiescamp
thought she was too tall for a
Western horse. Her sire was "Skippa
String" and her dam
"Skip Satin". She had run
out on the range and never had a
halter on.
My
daughter Joanne worked with her and
soon had her going good in Western
Pleasure and halter. Later she
switched to English and Jumping.
Satin won many ribbons and trophies
and she has 15 open English points.
Joanne and Satin won the open
English class at the Ashland Paint
Show and earned points at several
other Paint shows. She was the first
Paint Horse in the Dayton Horse
Show. She is our special mare.
