Ron Tonniges & Spanish Stitches
Qualify
for AQHA Select World Show in 2004

|
|
Ron
and Spanish Stitches aka “Red” qualified for
the AQHA Select World Show.
- Won
Amateur Reining for the Nebraska Quarter Horse
Association
- Multiple
first places at the Nebraska State Fair
- First
place in Non-Pro Reining at the Central Plains
Reining Horse Association Winter Circuit
This
mare also has ROM’s in Western Pleasure, Open
and Amateur Reining…
Red
is also our 'family' horse. If any horse
could have her own bedroom in our house, she would
be the one! Ron says when they haul us off
to the ”HOME” Red will have to come
along! She's great with the grandkids
and with people who want to ride but know nothing
at all about horses.

Note: This
is just one example of the versatility of this
fine family of horses.

Year
End Accomplishments at Hayes Ranch in Akron,CO
We
had the first place yearling gelding and
the first place yearling filly at the
2004 NECQHA Futurity.
It
was also the year-end show for our
association, and I finished up my
gelding (Skip Array Missle) to be the
season's year end high point halter
horse, AND the year end hi point performance
horse.
| I
have had several people tell me
that it could not be done
(halter horses don't ride, you
know....), and I guess I showed
them, won both hi-points
(against 8-10 serious contenders
in both categories) with wide
margins :-) It is doubly fun,
because I am the only person to
ever train that gelding, no one
else has ever even stepped on
him in the last six years......
I have also competed on him in
Versatility Ranch Horse
events. He has close to
700 hours in the AQHA Horseback
riding program. |
